DVLA deregistration
Legal requirementWhen a vehicle is scrapped, it must be officially deregistered with the DVLA. We handle this automatically as part of every collection — you don't need to do a thing.
Once your car is collected and processed, we notify the DVLA on your behalf. You'll receive a Certificate of Destruction (CoD) within 7 days — your legal proof that the vehicle has been scrapped and you're no longer liable for it.

Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF)
Licensed facilityAll vehicles we collect are processed at our Environment Agency licensed Authorised Treatment Facility — not dumped, not sold on illegally, but properly recycled.
Our ATF is fully licensed under the End of Life Vehicles (ELV) Regulations. Every car is depolluted (fluids drained, hazardous materials removed) before being crushed and sent for metal recycling. Up to 95% of each vehicle is recycled.
