How quickly can you collect my car?

In most cases we can collect within 24–48 hours of booking. Same-day collection is available in many areas — just ask when you book.

Do I need to be present for the collection?

Not necessarily. As long as the car is accessible and someone can hand over the keys and paperwork, you don't need to be there in person. Just let us know your arrangements when booking.

What if my car doesn't start or has no MOT?

No problem at all. We collect non-runners, cars without MOT, damaged vehicles, and end-of-life cars every day. The condition of the car doesn't affect our ability to collect it.

Will the price change on the day?

Your quoted price is guaranteed for 24 hours from the time of quote. If you book within that window, the price is locked in. The only exception is if the car's condition is significantly different from what was described.

We pay cash in hand or via instant bank transfer at the point of collection — whichever you prefer. We never pay by cheque.

What happens to my car after collection?

Your car goes to our licensed Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF) where it's depolluted and recycled responsibly. You'll receive a Certificate of Destruction within 7 days confirming it's been legally scrapped.

Do you notify the DVLA?

Yes. We handle the DVLA notification on your behalf as part of the service. You'll no longer be liable for the vehicle once it's collected and the paperwork is processed.

Can I scrap a car that isn't in my name?

You must be the registered keeper or have written authority from the registered keeper to scrap a vehicle. This is a legal requirement we must follow.
